Few topside rangers have ever seen the magnificent bloom of a bloodroot tree — a specimen found only in sanctified underground caverns where long ago battles of horrific violence were waged to determine the fate of all Drow kind — fewer still would survive an intrusion upon such holy ground to collect materials meant to wage further war. In fact, only one steeped in the etiquette of the Drow themselves might know the proper supplication required to hew a branch and live to use it.
